True to their word, AmeriPlan ® has announced more states added to our proprietary health program. This is indeed great news for our customers and for our IBOs as it means that provider mix ups will soon be a thing of the past. I applaud the company for taking such drastic steps to improve customer reliability!

AmeriPlan ® has decided to stop using the words plan and benefits in it’s advertising methods so that no one will confuse us with insurance. This just recently took effect, so all IBOs who are using the internet for advertising must conform to the new standards within 30 days. I think this is the right course of action for AmeriPlan ® and our customers, but maybe we should have done this sooner.  We have never tried to pass ourselves off as insurance, but most people aren’t aware that anything else exists.

has just announced new states becoming part of our proprietary network. This brings the total number of states to 13 and it is a huge step in the right direction. These states no longer rely on a rented PPO list; instead the health providers are personally contracted with AmeriPlan ®. We will continue to add new states to our proprietary network every month until the whole nation is personally involved with our program. This is really exciting news from the health people at AmeriPlan ®, I’m sorry I ever doubted them!

The AmeriPlan® business opportunity has really worked for me, but I have seen many people come and go in this company.  Everyone has a reason for leaving the business, some are legitimate and some are not.  I wish everyone could enjoy the same success I have, but I found over the years that most people just don’t have the true ambition it takes to run their own business.  AmeriPlan ® is no different than any other business in this respect, it takes commitment and stamina.  If you are a new trainee, please comment on your successes and failures to help others avoid the same problems.

With 3 new plans and 1 old favorite, this year AmeriPlan ® is ready to attack the larger market and become a household name accross the nation. For years in Dallas, Texas; AmeriPlan ® has been known as a great discount program that was the perfect low cost alternative to insurance. Good low cost care for our customers was the original recipe for success and now AmeriPlan ® has gotton back to the basics. Although we already have 30,000 dental providers and many more health providers accross the country, most people have never heard of us. Together we can make this a breakout year!

The last 2 years have been somewhat rough for AmeriPlan ® and it’s IBOs.  Growing pains for becoming such a large force in the healthcare industry have taken thier toll and everyone involved was getting a little tired.  A 100 million dollar company with millions of members was sure to get attention that it didn’t recieve in the early years of it’s life.  Complaints on the internet, problems with rented providers and even some disputes over advertising word usage are problems that all major healthcare companies face, but the AmeriPlan ® community has faced it with a particular flare.  Wherever a rediculous complaint was to be found on the internet, 10 positive responses from AmeriPlan ® IBOs were sure to follow.  Health provider problems are being worked out (still to slowly I’m afraid), but now we know exactly what the problems are.  Updated guidlines and restrictions have been put in place to keep IBOs from saying whatever they want about AmeriPlan ® when they advertise.  Long story short; this was bound to happen to us as we grew, this is the end of the dirt road and the beginning of the highway.  We may have 2 million members (that’s alot!), but that’s still less than 1% of our market!  The country becomes more desperate for our program every day, they just havn’t been introduced to us yet.  Don’t give up AmeriPlan ® IBOs, the tide has turned and we are still standing.

Individual memberships will soon become a thing of the past as we enter 2008.  Individuals who are currently members will retain their status, but new members won’t have the option to join as such.  More details can be found about the new pricing system at our Homepage.

Usually by this time of the year, I have already seen at least 2 different promotions from AmeriPlan ®.  This year however, I havn’t heard a peep.  No member drives without an initial fee, no IBO promos with a bonus for signing up x number of new recruits, not even a mention of a top producer trip.  Is this lack of news good news or bad news?  Personally, I like working with the basics and all the promotions are just like too much icing, but other IBOs I know really strive to compete in each one.  Are the promotion programs a pleasant extra or is it enough to just work for your own future?
