I’ve heard from many new IBOs recently that starting with their warm market is more difficult than usual. I agree; it is more difficult to recruit people at the bottom of a market, but it isn’t just warm market that has seen a decline. When the economy is on the rise, more people start to think about beginning a new business; but we need to get to that point first. Like every other industry in the United States right now, things are slower than usual. Also like every other industry in the United States, the winners will be the business owners that stick with it.

The economy is in shambles… the good news is that this isn’t the first time this has happened. The U.S. economy has actually gone through dozens of recessions and we have always come out of them. When the economy is recovering, new business start ups are at their highest. This could be the perfect opportunity for you to approach your warm market because everyone is looking to make more income and Ameriplan really works. If you haven’t targeted all of your warm market yet, now is the time!

When I first started my AmeriPlan® business, I went after my warm market and got a few IBOs and members. The majority of my warm market fit in the “show me the money” catagory and recently I had the opportunity to go back to those people 5 years later. I always wondered what would happen when I did show them the money, and now I know! My warm market was completely different the second time around. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

During the election season, lots of families talk to each other about the issues. The healthcare system in this country is in trouble and that’s the reason AmeriPlan ® exists. If you have been thinking of ways to approach your warm market, this may work for you if your social circle is politically engaged.

I have the postcard section included in cold market training because I never really thought about sending them to warm market. I have received a few questions about doing just that and I wanted to know if anyone has tried it? I got through my warm market some time ago, but I guess if you have out of state relatives the postcards would work fine.

It’s been my experience that many people don’t have a problem reaching RSD with their warm market, but then they immedietly have to begin replacing them with Cold Market people. Family and friends can be great favors for your initial promotion, but that’s all they are; favors. Can family and friends really be producers, or are they just a warm up?

I didn’t have a hard time approaching my family members because I know they generally trust my financial advice, but I have found that many other new IBOs were not as fortunate. In most cases, your success with your warm market depends greatly on their opinion of your decision making skills. They may have many other reasons for saying no, but when you first approach them they will either listen to you or dismiss it outright in seconds based on your history or age. My question here is; if you find yourself in this position, should you skip warm market altogether and come back to it later or drudge through it anyway and just accept the inevitable outcome?

Most people in AmeriPlan ® teach that you should approach the people in your warm market first, then move on to cold market once you have made RSD. So which is harder, warm or cold market?
