I wrote this document a couple years ago in an effort to properly welcome new IBOs to the AmeriPlan ® family. There are alot of IBOs in this company that market the business opportunity to be something it isnt. I want my downline to learn how to make this business work for them, not the other way around.

The Harsh Reality of What You Have Signed Up For
    Most other MLM companies like to try to lure you into their systems with promises of huge earnings that mysteriously appear with little or no effort on your behalf because it is profitable for them just to sign you up. They know you have almost no chance of success, but it doesn’t matter because what you pay as your start up fee is the bulk of their profit. AmeriPlan ® isn’t one of those companies, the reason the Bloom brothers elected to make AmeriPlan ® an MLM is because it gives the opportunity to create financial freedom to everyday people who see the same vision they do. They could have just as easily made it a standard type company (just like insurance) and kept all of the money themselves. We don’t profit from IBOs who fail and neither will you. You should keep this section in the back of your mind when you are speaking to IBO prospects that you would like to teach this company to. Let me explain… when you sign an IBO to your Downline, you are making a commitment to that person to give them all of the training and your personal time that is required for them to succeed. In other words, you may need to spend up to 10 hours a week training each individual person and walking them through the process and being there to reassure them when they fail, and all you will receive for your diligence if they fail is $15.00 for the 40 hours you gave them in one month. However, if they can see your vision and don’t give up, they will try again until they succeed. They will go on to become very good IBOs who will in turn train their IBOs properly and so on. The income from one of these “warrior champions” will greatly overshadow the 40 hours you gave of yourself, and your IBO will be able to live life on their terms.
    The Numbers don’t lie, so here they are… 4 out of 5 IBOs will fail within the first 6 months. 3 of them will never even bother reading this, so if you are reading this, you have already increased your chances to 50%. Of the 2 brokers that do read this, 1 will become inspired, but after being rejected a couple of times for legitimacy reasons will lose the vision and give up. The last IBO of the 5 will take this information to heart, learn the system and understand that the only way in the business to fail is to quit. This IBO will go out into the world looking at things differently and will not lose sight of the vision despite the overwhelming rejection they will face during their first few days. Once you reach RSD (to be explained later) you will be making a regular monthly income that will continue even if you decide to do nothing for awhile. At this point, why would anyone quit? You are making money every month and you have the ability to increase that income to whatever you desire as long as you are willing to do the work. AmeriPlan ® is NOT a get rich quick scam. It will require hard work and diligence in the beginning and the persistence to do things in the face of adversity. If you are willing to go through the hard knocks and not give up, YOU CANNOT FAIL. Eventually through the no’s in the beginning, you will get a yes. It’s also very important to understand that as time goes on and you become more successful at this, more people gravitate to you. When you make negative $50 a month, it’s a scam, when you make $100 a month; it’s a legitimate company but still not my thing. Then attitudes toward you change. When you make $1000 a month all the people who told you no will sit up and take notice, when you make $5000 a month or more, you have to beat them off with a stick.
