Cold Market Training 1
Your AmeriPlan ® business will peak and end with your warm market if that is as far as you take it. Once you are ready to begin recruiting people from outside your social circle, a world of opportunities will open. Cold Market Training 1 explores several local forms of advertising and this is where you should start.

Door Hangers
Door Hangers work well if they are placed in the right areas. This method is for the person who likes to walk. A Door Hanger is the same size as a Flyer or an
AmeriPlan ® Brochure but they have a cutout
built in them to hang on doorknobs.
The one pictured here is from
rjamarketinginc.com; prices are $70.00 for 750. There are several different designs available if this looks like the method for you, and they come in a
multitude of different and wild colors. There are other companies that also sell Door Hanger cutouts, but this is the only one I know of that has pre made
AmeriPlan ® designs. I have heard mixed results with the
door hangers and I attribute this to where they were distributed. Apartment complexes don't seem to really work for the people I know personally, but I've heard stories of apartment complexes being the backbone
of several successful peoples advertising. I think that middle class single family homes are the best. Apartment complexes require permission to distribute but most of the time single family homes don't.
This method is dependant on the number of
AmeriPlan ® providers in the area you are putting them in. If you try to Door Hang

in an area that doesn't have any providers, you will be wasting a lot of time. It takes about an hour to put out 50 of these in a normal neighborhood, but in an apartment complex you can put out 200 in the same time. Don't bother
putting these on the doors of small businesses because they don't usually get to the person who makes those decisions.
