Cold Market Training 1
Your AmeriPlan ® business will peak and end with your warm market if that is as far as you take it. Once you are ready to begin recruiting people from outside your social circle, a world of opportunities will open. Cold Market Training 1 explores several local forms of advertising and this is where you should start.

Postcards
This method has really started to become popular, especially since it works. Postcards are mainly used to recruit new
AmeriPlan ® IBOs, and unlike all of the other local advertising methods, this one
works better when it looks less professional and more personal. Below is an example of a purely professional Postcard.
These Postcards come from
rjamarketinginc.com and cost $50.00 for 1,000. You then send them to all of your prospects and wait for them to contact you. Where you get these prospects is a
matter of some debate right now.
The other type of Postcard is the personal kind. It requires a blank Postcard with no return address and a handwritten note stating;
Jamie,
We would like to talk with you about a part-time management position with our company.
Please call us at 800-
Wayne & Beverly
The Postcard MUST be HANDWRITTEN and it MUST have NO RETURN ADDRESS. Once your AmeriPlan ® Postcards are all ready to go, you begin mailing them to all of your prospects. I've heard of a lead source selling
mailing addresses for IBO prospects but as of yet, I haven't been able to locate it. When I do find it, I will post it right away. Other people have told me that they just pick random people out of the phone book
to mail the Postcards to, but after handwriting 100 of them I don't think I could mail them to just anyone.
